Saturn’s Aurora - Latest Images From Cassini And Hubble Video

Take a moment to have a look at the latest video images from NASA’s Cassini spacecraft of Saturn’s Aurora. The first set of images show an active aurora as the solar wind hits Hydrogen in Saturn’s atmosphere. this has been taken by Hubble in the ultraviolet spectrum. The second set is by Cassini and the third set of images are in the visual and infrared spectrums, again by Cassini. As the images are taken from wavelengths outside of the human perception of colour they are false coloured images.
