You Can Teach An Old Dog New Tricks on Mars At Least

NASA’s Mars Odyssey spacecraft is the longest serving spacecraft sent to Mars to date. It was launched in 2001 and has been sending back images of the surface for the last 12 years. Now NASA have changed its orbit around the red planet. The spacecraft will now orbit to take images of the dawn. This is to try to better understand the recent discoveries of geysers, flows on slopes and other temperature dependent processes. It is hoped Odyssey will show morning fogs, clouds and surface frosts.
